Aniket comes from a humble family where money was always short. Almost half of his family’s annual income would have gone into hostel and mess charges at IIT Kanpur, making it difficult for him to continue. Despite this, he worked hard and kept his dream alive. Your support helped him cover these essential costs, allowing him to focus on academics and his passion for space and defense research. He now hopes to serve the nation through ISRO or DRDO and one day support other students like him.

Sneh comes from a small village where her father drives an auto-rickshaw and her mother manages the home. As an EWS student, financial struggles constantly stood in the way of her education, making the dream of IIT Kanpur seem far away. Paying for basic needs like hostel and electricity was a constant worry. Your support not only lifted this weight but also gave her the confidence to dream bigger. Inspired by this kindness, Sneh hopes to one day pay it forward and support students from villages like hers.

Anshika comes from a small village, in a family dependent on farming as the only source of income. Covering essential expenses like mess and electricity bills at IIT Kanpur was a heavy burden, and at one point her ability to continue studies and prepare for placements was at risk. Alumni support lifted that pressure, giving her the space to focus on academics and her future. Today, she dreams of succeeding in her career and helping other young women from villages like hers.

Vidhi grew up in a small city in Rajasthan, in a joint family where finances were always tight. During her JEE preparation, both her parents were hospitalized, leaving her with the fear of not being able to continue her studies. Even after joining IIT Kanpur, essential expenses added pressure to her family. Your support lifted that burden, giving Vidhi the chance to excel, earning awards, securing internships, and even a pre-placement offer. She now aspires to pursue higher studies and inspire others from small towns like hers.

Amit is the son of a farmer from a small village where the family depended on agriculture as the only source of income. The seasonal nature of farming meant his parents constantly worried about managing household needs, let alone the costs of IIT Kanpur. Covering hostel and living expenses often felt impossible. Alumni support eased this struggle, allowing Amit to continue his studies with peace of mind. He now dreams of building a successful career and supporting students from farming families like his.

Harsh’s father, the primary breadwinner, worked long hours on the farm, while his mother stitched clothes to add to the family income. Despite these struggles, Harsh not only managed his academics at IIT Kanpur but also pursued his love for sports like football and badminton, which taught him teamwork and resilience. Your support allowed him to continue his education without the crushing financial burden, and he now dreams of excelling in both his career and life, while giving back to students like him.

Amipriya faced hardships early in life when he lost a parent, leaving his father, an auto-rickshaw driver, as the only earner in the family. With such limited income, higher education seemed almost impossible. Reaching IIT Kanpur was his biggest dream, but covering mess and living expenses became a huge challenge.
